A world without cancer is only possible through innovative research happening at Cleveland Clinic. Every year, gifts of all sizes are pooled together to strategically fund the most critical ideas for a wide range of cancer specialties. Researchers rapidly translate ideas into tangible solutions through three types of VeloSano Grants:
Utilizing a competitive application and peer-review selection process, the goal of the VeloSano Pilot Grants is to support projects with a high likelihood of leading to successful, future extramural grant funding.
This opportunity enables synergy to fuel achievement by encouraging Cleveland Clinic researchers to partner with one or more outside institutions in Northeast Ohio. Collaborative Grants are intended to make a difference in the local community.
A Trainee Grant provides funding to support career development and training experience for those at different educational levels and to encourage the pursuit of cancer research.
Since 2014, VeloSano participants and supporters have generated $51 million, which has been used to fund 240+ cancer research projects.
