Cleveland became the epicenter of hope as thousands of riders, volunteers and supporters came together for VeloSano Bike to Cure. The event was a celebration of determination, resilience and community — all for one purpose: powering cancer research at Cleveland Clinic.
From ages 8 to 84, riders collectively pedaled more than 86,000 miles, undeterred by the raindrops. Nearly 4,000 participants took part in the event including 2,650 riders, 450 Champions for the Cure, 215 Living Hope survivors and more than 800 volunteers.
Since VeloSano’s inception in 2014, the movement has raised more than $95 million, fueling 300+ cancer research projects. These projects often go on to earn prestigious grants, accelerating the fight against cancer — not just in Cleveland, but nationwide. 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to cancer research at Cleveland Clinic.
The ride may be over, but fundraising continues through October 15. Then stay tuned in November when we will announce the total raised from VeloSano in 2026!
